Product Introduction
The L2400 series engine is a horizontally opposed four-cylinder, four-stroke, spark-ignition piston engine with a displacement of nearly 2400 cc. Within this series, certain models (L2400 EB) utilize carburetor fuel supply, while others (L2400 DF, DT, EF, ET) employ electronic fuel injection. Some models (L2400 DF, DT, EF, ET) feature liquid-cooled cylinder heads, and others (L2400 ET, DT) are turbocharged. The compression ratios vary by model: 8.0:1 (L2400 DT, ET), 8.5:1 (L2400 EB), and 9.5:1 (L2400 DF, EF). The takeoff power ranges from 64 to 96 kW. The maximum rotational speed is 3200 rpm for most models, except for the L2400 EB, which has a maximum speed of 3400 rpm. Temperature limits include a cylinder head temperature limit of 250°C (L2400 EB), a coolant temperature limit of 110°C (L2400 DF, DT, EF, ET), and an oil temperature limit of 120°C. The dry weight ranges from 76 to 86 kg.
